This is a very short but nevertheless thought-provoking story about the interception of intelligent transmissions from space. I paid 77p to download it onto my Kindle; I then read it on my way into work on the train one morning. As a theoretical physicist, I found some of the ideas both interesting and thought provoking: what form might we expect others to use when contacting us; what would they say; how might we react; and what might we do with the information that they sent? I think 77p is an excellent price for an entertaining commute into central London!
